I'm afraid I'll drown

"...I'm afraid if he gets to me again I might just drown..."

I use to gaze at the high school and imagine myself walking. I would be beautiful and dressed like every one else and I would have a boyfriend and tons of friends and I would fit in..... I walked home and passed the spot where I stood imagining this and I shook my head at what that little girl would think if she saw me. Every thing she wanted... It never happened and honestly.... Its nothing I wish for anymore. I told her that fitting in would be an insult. That she may go through a lot and she might be alone and hurt at times- but she was spared from turning out a lot worse.
